Katarzyna Suchoń holds a PhD (DSc Eng.) in Materials Engineering and is a graduate of Chemical Technology at the Silesian University of Technology. For over 15 years, she has been professionally involved in research and development in the field of paints, polymer coatings, composites, and environmentally friendly technologies. She combines scientific expertise with implementation experience and intensive collaboration with industry. She specializes in the development of innovative coating systems, including anti-corrosion, functional, and eco-friendly solutions, as well as in comprehensive testing of material performance and durability.
She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications, patents, and technological solutions implemented in industrial practice, including those recognized in the Silesian Innovator 2022 competition.
She has extensive experience in coordinating and implementing research, development, and deployment projects, managing laboratory work, and cooperating with industrial and international partners. She is also involved in expert and standardization activities in the field of chemistry and materials engineering.
In the RASCOS project, she is a co-author of the project concept, serves as the leader of WP1, and participates in the project as a mentee.
