Sebastian Jurczyk works at the Paints and Plastics Centre of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials. From the beginning of his career at the Institute, he has been associated with a research laboratory accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation. His work focuses on thermal analysis (including DSC, TGA, and DMA techniques) and mechanical testing. The primary subjects of his research are polymer materials, polymer-matrix composites, paints, coating products, and lacquer coatings.
He obtained his PhD in technical sciences from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Silesian University of Technology. He currently continues his work at the Institute, concentrating on research in the field of thermal analysis.
Sebastian Jurczyk is an author and co-author of publications in national and international scientific and technical journals. He has also co-authored chapters in monographs and delivered presentations at scientific conferences.
Within the RASCOS project, he is involved in testing the developed coating systems, with a particular focus on their thermal and thermomechanical properties.
