Marta Chrószcz-Porębska holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences and is a Senior Specialist at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials and Dyes. She completed her doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and subsequently undertook a postdoctoral internship at the Warsaw University of Technology, continuing her research in the field of polymer chemistry and technology and their functionalization. She specializes in the synthesis and characterization of new chemical compounds, including polymer compounds, as well as in the design of new materials with enhanced microbiological activity. In her research work, she combines an experimental approach with the analysis of structure–property relationships of polymer materials, striving to develop innovative solutions with potential biomedical and industrial applications.
She is a co-author of numerous scientific publications, patent applications, and conference presentations concerning the modification of polymer structures and their functional properties. She has experience in the implementation of research and development projects involving the development and modification of modern polymer materials and their potential practical applications.
