Davide Ferrari is a Civil Engineer at the EuroTube Foundation, where he contributes to the development, prototyping, and implementation of next-generation sustainable transport infrastructure. His work focuses on civil engineering, construction-site activities, experimental infrastructure, and the practical deployment of technologies for hyperloop and advanced mobility systems.
In the RASCOS project, he serves as WP6 Leader and Researcher, leading the final integration, validation, and demonstration of the robotic sustainable coating system under realistic operating conditions. His role includes supporting the deployment of automated coating, defect detection, and autonomous maintenance solutions on EuroTube’s infrastructure test facility, while contributing to the broader development and validation activities across WP1, WP4, and WP5.
At EuroTube, Davide is also involved in civil and digital construction initiatives, including Smart Mobile Factory for Infrastructure, where mobile and digitally enabled production systems are developed for large-scale infrastructure components. His experience combines prototyping, site engineering, logistics, heavy equipment coordination, and hands-on implementation of experimental infrastructure.
Before and alongside his work at EuroTube, he contributed to Swissloop Tunneling, the ETH Zurich student-led project focused on developing more efficient underground construction technologies. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from ETH Zürich.
