Dr Aneta Raszkowska-Kaczor is a chemist and specialist in polymer materials, biodegradable composites, and polymer processing technologies. Since 2011, she has been affiliated with the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials and Dyes, where she currently serves as an Area Leader and Laboratory Manager. She has over 14 years of experience in laboratory research on the physicomechanical properties, identification, and processing of polymer materials, as well as more than 6 years of experience in managing research teams and leading an accredited testing laboratory.
Dr Raszkowska-Kaczor graduated in Chemistry with a specialization in Polymer Chemistry from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, where she also obtained her PhD in Chemistry. She additionally completed postgraduate studies in Research and Development Project Management. Throughout her career, she has participated in 16 national and international research and innovation projects, serving as a researcher, project manager, task leader, and quality manager. She is currently a key researcher in the PROMATAI project funded under the Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchanges programme, where she is responsible for research on advanced bio-nanocomposites and hybrid materials.
Her scientific achievements include 34 peer-reviewed publications (over 655 citations and an h-index of 13, according to Google Scholar), 9 patents, and participation in more than 34 scientific conferences. She is a two-time recipient of the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship Scholarship for PhD students and serves as a scientific supervisor for PhD candidates. Her research focuses on the design, processing, and characterization of polymer materials, composites, and nanocomposites, with particular emphasis on innovative solutions supporting the circular economy.
