Scientific Conference \u201cPolymer Materials Pomerania-Plast 2026,\u201d<\/strong> members of our research team are presenting a poster dedicated to the <strong>RASCOS<\/strong> project, carried out with support from the Swiss Funds.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"262\" data-end=\"556\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Surrounded by a coastal landscape and among representatives of science and the plastics industry, we are discussing one of the less obvious but highly important areas of modern infrastructure \u2014 durable and sustainable coating systems for structures operating under we analyze available solutions and operational requirements, as well as select polymers that will serve as binders in the designed coating systems.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"220\" data-end=\"445\">Although paint may seem like just a protective layer, in practice each component influences the final properties of the coating \u2014 its mechanical resistance, adhesion, durability, and applicability under industrial conditions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"447\" data-end=\"502\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">And this is exactly where the biggest challenge
