network in Europe.<\/p><p>\u0141ukasiewicz IMPIB conducts research and development activities of an applied nature in the area of \u200b\u200bmaterial engineering of polymer materials, paints, coatings, elastomers and composites. The work carried out in the centers in Toru\u0144, Gliwice and Piast\u00f3w includes research on technologies for the production of polymer materials, formulation and testing of paints, and the development of specialized coatings with properties including: anti-corrosion, anti-bacterial, self-cleaning, flame retardant and EMI shielding. The Institute also develops ecological technologies with reduced VOC emissions, solutions using renewable and waste raw materials and innovative additives, including nanomaterials.<\/p><p>The Institute actively cooperates with enterprises in the implementation of research work, development and implementation of innovative technological solutions and transfer of scientific research results to the economy. Thanks to his experience in laboratory, semi-technical and implementation work, he supports the process of scaling technologies and their practical application in various industry sectors. The Institute also participates in the implementation of national and international R&amp;D projects conducted in cooperation with scientific and industrial partners (including FENG (NCBR, PARP), CORNET Initiative, bilateral and multilateral programs, Horizon Europe)<\/p><p>In the RASCOS project, \u0141ukasiewicz IMPIB serves as the Leader - coordinating activities. He will be responsible for coordinating all technical and non-technical activities of the project, as well as ensuring the correct implementation of tasks and achieving the assumed project goals. As part of the research work, IMPIB manages WP-1 and WP2 tasks regarding the development of paints with a high share of biorenewable raw materials.
